Busy having fun, not sitting at the computer

We've been busy. Busy having fun on the weekends and busy with work during the week. We visited Bill's family in Connecticut. Our niece Jade and Cassidy have fun playing together. Since they're so close in age its a shame we don't live closer.

We've also found time to play in our own backyard (we bought a bigger pool!!)

Then Cassidy, Jake and I went up to my parents cottage for a weekend.  Cassidy loves her Grammi & Grampi and we had a great time.

Now I'm looking forward to the 4th of July holiday. BBQ at my sisters, doctors appt (followed by fun day in the city) and a super long 5-day weekend!

Enjoying nice weather at home

We've been making good use of our backyard the last few days.  We went in our pool. I sit in a chair with my feet in so of course that's what Cassidy wanted to do.  Unfortunately her chair is low and her legs are not a long as mine so this was the result. She had fun pouring water all over herself though!

It's nice that we have all this fun stuff at home. We definitely keep busy!

Grandma's 90th Birthday

My Grandmother turned 90 years old! She's a hot sh!t. She said she didn't want a party but IF there was a party she didn't want chocolate cake!  My aunt had a BBQ and it was a good time. We really only see all my aunts & uncles around Christmas so it's always nice to see them another time during the year. Especially when its for a happy occasion.

as usual my sister made the cake. My Gram loves owls. It was adorable & yummy too!

My dad is a twin (fraternal) and it was so funny when Cassidy looked at him and his brother and said "Two Grampies!"  It was really cute.

Other than that we had a low-key weekend. I have a couple doctors appointments this week (nothing wrong just check-ups and still struggling with birth control issues) so it'll be a busy week. I have a few long weekends/vacation time planned for the summer and I can't wait to get away and enjoy this summer!

I need to get Bill to spellcheck / Grammar police all my pages. Last year I had my book printed with quite a few typo's and I don't want that to happen again.

Right now Cassidy is refusing to put on clothes. So she's sitting in her diaper. She wants the "TV on" and I told her if she gets dressed I'll put the TV on. She says "no. Naked girl!"   She's a lot of fun lately.

Yesterday Bill started to relocate our bathroom light (above the mirror) so when she had her bath there was no light or mirror. As I'm putting on her PJ's she says to me "Daddy broke my bathroom" LOL.
